I don't have time to work on this right now, but I saw this in the forum and wanted to get it logged. Anyone - feel free to take care of this, and if it is still around this weekend I'll try to test/update. From the forums: Oh yes, nuvexport should "just work" with 0.22. I believe you could simply change the dependence to >=mythtv-0.21* instead of =mythtv-0.21*. But there is also a new snapshot out - 20100301, so if you're touching an ebuild you may as well pick up the newest stuff.
nuvexport was removed from tree with old mythtv, so here's the intresting data: - Bug 280471 and Bug 302132 was closed WONTFIX with it. - http://sources.gentoo.org/viewcvs.py/gentoo-x86/media-tv/nuvexport/?hideattic=0
Looks like I blinked... :) I don't actually use nuvexport - I'll still take a look at it this weekend and see what shape it is in. If it doesn't work as supplied by upstream I probably won't put it back in the tree.
It should be good, just use latest version and check bug 302132 that there is transcode 1.1.x and new ffmpeg support for command line options...
any news?
(In reply to Jonas Stein from comment #4) > any news? This is associated with mythtv. I'll go ahead and cancel this one at this point, but you're welcome to take this one as I no longer use/maintain mythtv.
