Description Daniel Tourde 2010-03-22 09:19:57 UTC
Hello,

OpenFOAM requires parmetis
Salome requires metis.
metis and parmetis are mutually exclusive. So, OpenFOAM and Salome cannot be installed at the same time.

So, does OpenFOAM really need parmetis or does it need one metis (metis or parmetis). In such a case, one could envision a situation where a virtual/metis mechanism would be used, avoiding collision.

Daniel

Reproducible: Always
