The FollowMe() function is broken in >=net-misc/asterisk-1.6.1.16 

(see orig. bug: https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=16929 )

Please include the patch into the ebuilds:

it's broken since >=net-misc/asterisk-1.6.1.13 >=net-misc/asterisk-1.6.1.16 , not

No Maintainer who could add this one simple line in the ebuilds and add the patch to the tree?

Assigning the bug to the actual Asterisk maintainer will help the response time immensely.

Asterisk 1.6.2.6 & 1.6.1.18 already in the tree which have this fix from upstream. No action required.
