Bug 309459 – Removal of dev-java/kaffe

kaffe is old and unmaintaned.  Therefore it will be removed from the main tree and placed in java's junkyard overlay.

No ebuilds in java overlays

Will be moved to java junkyard so we better do it.

CCing treecleaners so they can write the obitatory or organise the minute of silence.

The version in Gentoo was never even updated to the latest 1.19 http://kaffe.org/

That's true, but the version is now 2 years old anyway. So what's the upstream status if you know?

Which is a pretty could indication of how unmaintained kaffe is.  Wouldn't it be better to put icedtea into the main tree and sped our time maintaining that.
