This ebuild will install kile 1.6 beta2. Since the file on sourceforge is not named according to standards (it is kile-1.6b2.tar.gz), variable P is redefined in the ebuild. Works for me.
The main reason to put this into portage is that version 1.5.2 (stable in portage) has problems with the LaTeX reference (does not show up; replicate by emerge kile, kile, click on Help -> LaTeX reference), which is quite an important part. It is instead working fine in this beta.

However, 1.6 final is scheduled soon (weeks). Will come with another ebuild when it's about time.
