In testing for 3 1/2 years without any serious problems.
Broken when USE="tk": $ tkx2vnc Application initialization failed: version conflict for package "Tcl": have 8.5.7, need exactly 8.5 Error in startup script: invalid command name "tk_optionMenu" while executing "tk_optionMenu .mn.menubutton prefs(retry) $retry_opt(retry) $retry_opt(prompt) $retry_opt(quit)" (procedure "prompt" line 29) invoked from within "prompt" (file "/usr/bin/tkx2vnc" line 209)
This error is triggered by a broken expectk binary (which seems to be unmaintained). I added a little patch to the script to call wish instead of expectk and to require package Expect then. This solves the issue for tkx2vnc, but maybe the tcltk maintainers are interested in going for the root of the problem?

This solves the issue for tkx2vnc Thanks, I guess you'd like the -r1 to be stabilized now, right?
Yes, please.
Hi, reporting for x86: I did not really test to control something over remote, but it builds fine and the clients both run. Everything good I would say.
