Description Mike Pagano gentoo-dev 2010-03-05 01:44:53 UTC
Arch teams, please consider stabilizing =sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.32-r7 and matching
=sys-kernel/vanilla-sources-2.6.32.9. No wide ranging issues exist at this time.

http://packages.gentoo.org/package/sys-kernel/gentoo-sources says it's still ~amd64.

Yes I know... sorry for the ambiguous language. I'm trying to provide evidence that it should be marked stable in portage. My usage of the word "stable" was supposed to mean: "hasn't caught on fire or started any civil wars", not: "marked stable in portage". :)
Comment 9 Rutger van Bergen 2010-04-21 18:53:30 UTC
Are there any reasons not to mark it stable on amd64?
Comment 10 toon 2010-04-23 13:41:03 UTC
Hi guys, why is amd64 not declared stable yet?
I can't find any bug report which would explain it...
Comment 11 Rutger van Bergen 2010-04-24 17:39:37 UTC
The fact that the amd64 arch testers haven't replied at all seems to indicate that they haven't gotten round to considering stabilizing, or effectuating the stabilization they already know is appropriate. Either situation would be a shame, but as I don't want to perform any "armchair criticism" I will just wait for them to get round to it... :)
Comment 12 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2010-04-24 18:04:41 UTC
amd64 stable

(Sorry for the delay, but there are many other packages to stabilize and we are not enough people to handle all requests)
Comment 13 Mike Pagano gentoo-dev 2010-05-19 14:46:03 UTC
I think that's all of them. Closing
