There is new version 1.0.12 of tinc VPN.

Here is an answer from TINC creator and programmer Guus Sliepen:

Great! I have no experience with Gentoo myself, so I don't really know how they
handle their packages, but will you try to merge your efforts with the official
Gentoo repositories?
