Description crusaderky 2003-10-08 07:49:14 UTC
If I run xmms-1.2.8-r2, I get this warning on start:

/usr/lib/xmms/Input/libcdread.so: undefined symbol: playlist_generate_shuffle_list

After that, however, the program works fine (although I've not tried reading audio cds).

This is not present in xmms-1.2.7.

Portage 2.0.48-r5 (default-x86-1.4, gcc-3.2.3, glibc-2.3.2-r1)

this isn't a xmms bug, rather a cdread bug, but imo it isn't even that.
the cdread plugin was written for xmms <1.2.8 and isn't realy needed in
xmms 1.2.8 as the cdda plugin that comes with xmms has been rewritten and
nos also supports "digital audio extraction".
