This is only for tracking purposes due gtk+-2.18 stabilization, that way people will see that newer gtk+/glib won't be stabilized until this app is ready to go stable (and, then, won't have to ask why new gtk+ is not stabilized yet) Feel free to add arches when you prefer Thanks a lot Reproducible: Always
Pacho, go ahead now. We can always fix things later, 0.6.0_rc2 is working fine for me. Cheers
Great :-D Arches, please test and mark stable app-office/grisbi-0.6.0_rc2 since current stable is too old and unmaintained by upstream Thanks
(really adding arches)
amd64 stable
Works fine on x86, but has less than 30 days in portage and is an rc version.
(In reply to comment #5) > Works fine on x86, but has less than 30 days in portage and is an rc version. > Yes, we know, but current stable is pretty old and totally unsupported by upstream, that recommends to use this rc2 instead: (http://grisbi.org/) "28 Enero 2010 - Discontinued support for Grisbi version 0.5.9 Because of the incompatibility between Grisbi 0.5.9 and the latest version of the GTK libraries (2.18.x), and with the arrival of Grisbi 0.6.0, we have decided that no 0.5.9 bugs will be fixed anymore. This decision had already been taken a while ago, but was never announced. Now it's done. While you are waiting for the final release of Grisbi 0.6.0, you can try out the 1st release candidate (0.6.0 RC1) available on Sourceforge. Make sure that you select a file that is suitable for you operating system. Pierre, William"
I started hacking on grisbi and already got a couple patches accepted upstream. So if anything breaks, we should be able to straighten out the situation fairly quickly. Thanks
Okay, x86 stable.
