upgrading dev-util/gtk-doc-am from 1.11 to 1.13 fails for me in configure run with the message:

checking for DocBook XML DTD V4.3 in XML catalog... not found
configure: error: could not find DocBook XML DTD V4.3 in XML catalog

the relevant snippet from config.log about this is:

configure:12979: checking for DocBook XML DTD V4.3 in XML catalog
configure:12982: $XMLCATALOG --noout "$XML_CATALOG_FILE" "-//OASIS//DTD DocBook

No entry for PUBLIC -//OASIS//DTD DocBook XML V4.3//EN

configure:12992: error: could not find DocBook XML DTD V4.3 in XML catalog

the current version of app-text/docbook-xml-dtd is 4.5-r1.

emerging app-text/docbook-xml-dtd-4.3-r1 first fixes the problem.

Since docbook-xml-dtd is slotted, maybe adding the dependency should be enough.

I can confirm this. After installing =docbook-xml-dtd-4.3-r1 dev-util/gtk-doc-am-1.13 were merged successfully.
