Tested on x86: Looks good.
Note: When emerged with FEATURES="test" this will display X Dialog Boxes during emerge.

Testreport on stable amd64 chroot:

Compiles and installs nicely with the mentioned X Dialog Boxes.

When run some of the menu entries (e.g. Options->Define Command Key, Repeat -> Select Range, Item-Properties ...) gives error output in xterm.

Example:
After pressing 'Options->Define command Key' I get

bgerror failed to handle background error.
Original error: bad variable name "defkey(done)": upvar won't create a scalar variable that looks like an array element
Error in bgerror: bad variable name "bug(done)": upvar won't create a scalar variable that looks like an array element
bgerror failed to handle background error.

Other buttons give similar errors.

+ 24 Mar 2010; Samuli Suominen <ssuominen@gentoo.org> +ical-3.0-r1.ebuild,
+ +files/ical-3.0-newtcl.patch:
+ Fix compability with TCL 8.5 and 8.6 for real.

Try -r1 instead, adding x86@ back to do -r1.
