Compiled fine. I'm new with making ebuilds, but really wanted to share. Any critic is welcome.
Created attachment 219979 [details] x11-libs/libva/libva-1.0.1.ebuild vaapi (x11-libs/libva) ebuild for testing, last commit was ~2 months ago, so not much activity there
there is lots of work in a separate branch related to ati support to my knowledge, maybe we could lump those improvement together.
we'd probably provide the libva and companions from http://www.splitted-desktop.com/~gbeauchesne/
Actually that was the source where I took libva. But since there is seems to be a repository with more new 1.0.1 version available (http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libva/). It might be reasonable to use sources from there?
Comment on attachment 219979 [details] x11-libs/libva/libva-1.0.1.ebuild libva in bug 308871 looks more up to date (or sane)
patch from bug #308857 merged in 9999 -> fixed
