Those are internal glibc symbols - on a glibc system
they're simply there.
Did you did anything strange with your toolchain ?
Comment 5 Markus Giese 2010-02-14 03:37:27 UTC
i am updating this system for the firsttime in 6 months, might be that i uninstalled some important package to resolve dependency problems during the update, any suggestion ? i tried to recompile packages manually but all off them stop compiling with messages similar to that : parseargs.c:(.text+0x4e0): undefined reference to `__builtin_va_arg_pack'
Comment 6 Thomas Sachau gentoo-dev 2010-03-12 14:38:41 UTC
Are you able to recompile glibc? Also, which packages did you remove and not reinstall?
