I have a "remote file calendar" defined with an sftp:// url. 
After the upgrade to kde-4.4.0 this calendar cannot be loaded / updated anymore. 

Instead a dialog box pops up with an error message (partially translated from german):

No connection to host kex error : did not find one of algos zlib in list none,zlib@openssh.com for compression algo client->server

This problem is not limited to kontact.

I get the same error message when I try to open an sftp:// directory url with konqueror or dolphin

You need to (re)build kde-base/kdebase-kioslaves with USE=sftp.

Fixed in 4.4.2. Resolving.
