There's no stablereq for the required >=net-firewall/iptables-1.4.4 yet!
But it works and passed the testsuite with iptables-1.4.5 over here on x86! 
i haven't tested all reverse-deps on that ~x86 iptables version yet...

This fails to build on ppc64 32UL.  It tries to pass -m64 to build kernel modules which doesnt work on Gentoo.  It needs to call the kgcc powerpc64-unknown-linux-gnu-gcc instead....

Kacper, I really suggest you to reconsider :) Actually ipset kernel modules are part of vanilla kernel (starting with 2.6.39) so I guess it's good idea to have it on all archs that have iptables keywords. Please test 6.4. You will need to keyword net-libs/libmnl too.

The ipset kernel patch is practically trivial (couple of lines). I just pinged the pax folks and they have worked out a couple of gremlins (so hardened should be fine). Also it's part of 2.6.39, so backports of such a trivial patch would be very helpful?
