gnome-base/gdm-2.20.10-r3 fails to start on x11-base/xorg-server-1.7.4.901 if SLI mode is set on x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-190.53-r1.

However if SLI mode is not set it loads fine. Secondly SLI will load into TWM fine from the console.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start GDM with SLI mode set
2. screen flickers
3. gives error message that X could not be loaded

Actual Results:  
returns to console

Expected Results:  
loads gdm
