Description gentooer 2010-01-30 12:41:47 UTC
Updating e17 in my gentoo i found out an error in ecore config&compile that cause other e17 components compiling problems.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
# emerge ecore
Calculating dependencies... done!

configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --enable-ecore-job

and ecore compiles WITHOUT ecore-job support that is needed by other applications (enlightenment with USE "exchange", and entrance) that look for usr/lib/ file
Actual Results:
ecore configure has this "configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --enable-ecore-job" and does not compile usr/lib/ (and other ecore-job components)
This cause that some other e17 components (enlightenment with USE "exchange", and entrance) will not compile becuase:

libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib/' or unhandled argument `/usr/lib/'

or because

Expected Results:
ecore should accept "--enable-ecore-job" and compile (and other ecore-job components)

re-emerge all your packages that refer to that library
Comment 3 gentooer 2010-02-11 21:04:02 UTC
I can confirm, fixed by (at least) revision at revision 45833.
Sorry for not closing if sooner.
