Sorry, but there is no such version in portage.
Comment 2 Martin Mokrejš 2010-01-27 12:27:28 UTC
Happens with previous versions as well. The particular ebuild is from bug #234126.
Comment 3 Peter Volkov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-01-27 12:55:43 UTC
Please, run emerge --sync, reemerge package and attach full build log. But first, please, check: linux-mod.eclass generates modprobe.d config file and eclass was fixed some time ago. I suppose you have old eclass somewhere on your system.

I did --sync yesterday and sunrise is not accessible at the moment. The ebuild
I am using is from the bug report I have mentioned. As you can see is the only, relatively recent version of the package:

I cannot re-emerge as the source snapshot is gone.

Taking into the account the linux-mod.eclass does "newins" while leaving the previously named file in place one would still get the warning on modprobe. Further, would I have re-emerged in the meantime I would have both files (but I have only /etc/modprobe.d/ath_pci). Finally, taking into account the contain just line commented out I will just delete it.

# ls -la /etc/modprobe.d/ath_pci
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 912 Apr 7 2009 /etc/modprobe.d/ath_pci

I think I use the in-kernel bundled copy of the driver so I just uninstalled the package. The file /etc/modprobe.d/ath_pci got deleted automatically by portage.
