Hi,

Please find attached 'ettercap-0.7.3-r5.ebuild' and 'ettercap-0.7.3-x86_64-dns.patch', new ebuild and patch for ettercap dns 'fix' for amd64 plateform only.

With x86_64 arch, ettercap don't detect -lresolv (old code) and Ettercap say when we lauch it:
'Dissector "dns" not supported (etter.conf line 70)'

Problem: DNS Spoofing don't works.

I found a 'fix' (it's a hard-change in configure script) here: http://unknowndebian.free.fr/wordpress/?p=20
It make -lresolv auto enabled.

Well I don't know if a check of arch is needed. If yes, please add it.

I disabled eautoreconf too. (else change are overwritten)
After emerging my ebuild, all works great :)

Incredible you responded so quickly on such an ancient bug.  Thanks for reporting, and even more so for still caring.  Now that ettercap is not dead we will try to be more attentive to these bugs, thanks!
