During emerge I see a lot of text scrolling by (more than usual for an emerge) and then at the end when it tries to install some html files, it complains that those html files do not exist. (See the attached log for the entire output of the emerge). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge -u docbook-sgml-utils (currently 0.6.12 is installed) Actual Results: the last part of stderr output looks like this (complete output and complete stderr output attached): jade:../../docbook-utils.dsl:19:39:E: no style-specification or external- specification with ID "DOCBOOK" jade:../../docbook-utils.dsl:9:96:W: cannot generate system identifier for public text "-//Norman Walsh//DOCUMENT DocBook HTML Stylesheet//EN" jade:../../docbook-utils.dsl:19:39:E: no style-specification or external- specification with ID "DOCBOOK" /bin/install: cannot stat `./api.html': No such file or directory /bin/install: cannot stat `./backend-spec.html': No such file or directory /bin/install: cannot stat `./docbook2man.html': No such file or directory /bin/install: cannot stat `./docbook2texi.html': No such file or directory /bin/install: cannot stat `./fdl.html': No such file or directory /bin/install: cannot stat `./frontend-spec.html': No such file or directory /bin/install: cannot stat `./helpers.html': No such file or directory /bin/install: cannot stat `./index.html': No such file or directory /bin/install: cannot stat `./introduction.html': No such file or directory /bin/install: cannot stat `./intro-jw.html': No such file or directory /bin/install: cannot stat `./intro-sgmldiff.html': No such file or directory /bin/install: cannot stat `./jw.html': No such file or directory /bin/install: cannot stat `./sgmldiff.html': No such file or directory make[3]: *** [install-htmlDATA] Error 1 make[2]: *** [install-am] Error 2 make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 Expected Results: emerged successfully Portage 2.0.49-r7 (default-x86-1.4, gcc-3.3.1, glibc-2.3.2-r1, 2.4.22) ================================================================= System uname: 2.4.22 i686 Pentium III (Coppermine) distcc 2.11 i686-pc-linux-gnu (protocols 1 and 2) (default port 3632) [enabled] ccache version 2.2 [enabled] ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86 ~x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-march=pentium3 -O3 -pipe" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" COMPILER="gcc3" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /var/qmail/control /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share /config /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/kde/3.1/share/config /usr/share/config" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=pentium3 -O3 -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs sandbox ccache distcc userpriv usersandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://ftp.snt.utwente.nl/pub/os/linux/gentoo http://ftp.gentoo.skynet.be/pub/gentoo/ http://mirrors.sec.informatik.tu- darmstadt.de/gentoo http://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/mirrors/gentoo http://ftp.easynet.nl/mirror/gentoo/" MAKEOPTS="-j4" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/portage_overlay" SYNC="rsync://rsync.europe.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="foomaticdb mad -3dfx -3dnow -aalib -acl -acpi -afs alsa apache2 -apm - arts -atlas avi -berkdb bonobo -canna cdr -cjk crypt -cups dga directfb -doc dvd encode -esd ethereal -evo -ev6 -fbcon -flash -freewnn -gb gd gdbm ggi gif - gnome -gphoto2 gpm -gps gtk gtk2 -gtkhtml -guile -icc -icc-pgo imap imlib - innodb ipv6 -java -jikes jpeg -junit -kde -kerberos -lcms -ldap -leim -libg++ - libgda libwww -matrox maildir mbox mikmod mmx -motif mozilla mpeg -mule mysql - nas ncurses -nls -nocardbus oav -oci8 -odbc oggvorbis opengl oss pam -pcmcia - pda pdflib perl pic plotutils png pnp python qt quicktime readline -ruby samba sasl -scanner sdl slang -slp snmp -socks5 spell sse ssl svga tcltk tcpd -tetex tiff truetype trusted usb -voodoo3 -wavelan wmf X -xface xml xml2 xmms xv -zeo zlib x86"
Created attachment 18597 [details] stderr output generated by emerge
Created attachment 18598 [details] complete stdout + stderr output of emerge The output was 1.8MB unzipped, so I just zipped the log file.
