I have a private rsync overlay. I've just been having problems with it with the 1.3.0-rcs. The latest problem is this. It seems to sync correctly but then it gives an error: # layman --sync ALL * Running command "/usr/bin/rsync -rlptDvz --progress --delete --delete-after --timeout=180 --exclude="distfiles/*" --exclude="local/*" --exclude="packages/*" "rsync://blackwidow/overlay/" "/usr/local/portage/layman/marduk""... receiving file list ... 454 files to consider sent 75 bytes received 10883 bytes 21916.00 bytes/sec total size is 1002567 speedup is 91.49 * * Success: * ------ * * Successfully synchronized overlay "marduk". * * Errors: * ------ * * Overlay "marduk" could not be found in the remote lists. * Please check if it has been renamed and re-add if necessary. * FWIW the overlay appears to be syncing successfully, but then layman dies with an error. I'm guessing that "remote lists" means a gentoo.org list. So if that's the case it's true, the repo is not on a remote list. It's a private overlay.
