Comment 1 Rafał Mużyło 2010-01-12 15:08:51 UTC
IIRC, glibc-omitfp was a useflag, not a compiler option.
Also, omit frame pointer is bit pointless on amd64
- IIRC, on this arch it's either on by default on higher O levels
or not really needed due to higher register count.
Comment 2 Martin Mokrejš 2010-02-19 10:09:18 UTC
Still hitting this issue. I dropped "-fno-strict-aliasing -ggdb" from my C(|XX)FLAGS.
Comment 3 Andrey Kislyuk (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-05-31 22:07:04 UTC
Thanks for reporting. Fix committed ncbi-tools++-2009.05.15-r4, please test.
Comment 4 Martin Mokrejš 2010-06-23 05:18:53 UTC
So, I re-tried and saw:

However, the build finished with i686-pc-linux-gnu-4.4.4 despite the "-fno-strict-aliasing -ggdb". Thanks.
