Description David Heidelberg (okias) 2010-01-10 16:28:33 UTC
lightly modifyed gnash-0.8.6 ebuild, for use with live bzr repo. Should provide lastest Gnash features and best experience on Flash pages (slightly better than 0.8.6)

Reproducible: Always

Personally I prefer use a snapshot instead, because the code is frozen and it has better chances to build and work properly than a live version.

Each release has a lot of problems, so the live version...

Due to the number of patches which are presently necessary to build gnash at all on Gentoo, it seems impractical to have a live ebuild.
Comment 4 Chí-Thanh Christopher Nguyễn gentoo-dev 2010-08-13 14:48:49 UTC
I talked to savannah maintainers on IRC, and they are not interested in Gentoo users using up their network bandwidth.

However, I modified the ebuild of the upcoming snapshot so that it will double as live ebuild by just renaming it into -9999.

Marking as WONTFIX.
