Which version of dev-python/twisted do you have installed? Can you reproduce this problem when =dev-python/twisted-9.0* is installed?
(In reply to comment #1) > Which version of dev-python/twisted do you have installed? > Can you reproduce this problem when =dev-python/twisted-9.0* is installed? Yes, problem can be reproduced with twisted-9.0* and twisted-8.2*
..speaking of which - shouldn't USE="test" require twisted? I can reproduce this with Twisted 9 and Python 2.6.4.
There are also failures in pyflakes-0.3.0 (completely stable x86 system with twisted-8.2.0-r2). It looks like this: >>> Source compiled. /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/twisted/python/filepath.py:12: DeprecationWarning: the sha module is deprecated; use the hashlib module instead import sha /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/twisted/internet/_sslverify.py:5: DeprecationWarning: the md5 module is deprecated; use hashlib instead import itertools, md5 ...................F................................................................................................... ====================================================================== FAIL: test_packageImport ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UnsupportedTrialFeature: ('unexpected success', <Todo reason="this has been hacked to treat 'import fu.bar' as just 'import fu'" errors=None>) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ran 125 tests in 0.826s FAILED (failures=1)
(In reply to comment #3) > ..speaking of which - shouldn't USE="test" require twisted? I have added this dependency.
Same problem here on fully stable amd64 (with only pyflakes in p.keywords) chroot, testing for bug 298977. Seeing this is no regression, I'm moving forward with it...
Can this be reproduced with a more current pyflakes/python-2.6.x?
