I am asking to stabilize x11-libs/libvdpau-0.3. As stated in URL, it would be nice to have this version in stable before doing any USE="vdpau?" move (from x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers). Reproducible: Always
We may need latest x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers to stable too, CCing cardoe.
We probably won't be following suit because it breaks a lot of applications that aren't ready for it. Unfortunately libvdpau doesn't abstract away the file move like it claims it does. Either I'm misunderstanding that it was suppose to abstract away the move or Aaron misunderstood how dlopen() works. I'm going to talk to him about this on Monday when everyone's back at work, so I would urge everyone to hold off on this bug until I can get some clarification because we might see libvdpau-0.3.1

amd64 stable
This bug was for 0.3, which happened. Why is this being morphed.

I tested on x86, it looks good!
x86 stable, closing, thanks Andreas!
