New ebuild for a new NUT version (gentoo was stuck at 0.44.x). - ups drivers are now in /usr/lib/ups - 3 init scripts: one for the driver starter (upsdrv), one for the daemon (upsd), one for the monitor (upsmon) a nut-monitor ebuild will follow (to emerge just the monitor, and not the drivers/daemon)

If you split this into the seperate parts nut-base and nut-monitor and join the initscripts driver and daemon in one, monitor in the other; and place them in thier respective ebuilds, I'll touch up, test and commit this. Thanks for your contribution! Keep up the good work!
I've split the ebuild in two: - nut ; includes everything (since a PC with a daemon is very likely to need the monitor too) - nut-monitor ; just the monitor
Created attachment 1450 [details] New ebuild files halt.sh (which is a copy of /etc/init.d/halt.sh) has a few lines at the end that deal with shutting down the ups (commented)... they should be added to halt.sh only if you install nut, NOT nut-monitor.
there is already nut 1.0 in portage, so this one is outdated.
