mldonkey 3.0.1

version bump
Comment 2 Dennis Nezic 2010-02-25 17:12:48 UTC
Works good, except get rid of "--enable-ocamlver=3.10" from src_configure. (It won't let you compile with ocaml 3.11.)
Comment 3 Hamlet Mun 2010-03-22 01:14:44 UTC
ebuild works just fine with x86 stable
my ocaml version was 3.10.2, so I used the ebuild without any modification
Comment 4 Curtis Magyar 2010-03-27 12:12:56 UTC
I've been using 3.0.1 for quite some time now, and it seems stable. I modified the ebuild to use --enable-ocamlver=3.11 as well, as the mldonkey CVS shows that patches were applied prior to 3.0.1 to support ocaml 3.11+.
Comment 5 spiralvoice 2010-05-22 19:54:07 UTC
MLDonkey 3.0.2 is out.
Comment 6 Dennis Nezic 2010-07-30 11:23:54 UTC
bump
Comment 7 Volker Hemmann 2010-07-31 09:00:13 UTC
this bugs reminds me of the binflash fiasco....
Comment 8 Daniel Kenzelmann 2010-09-14 06:37:03 UTC
mldonkey 3.0.4 which supports ocaml-3.12 which in turn is needed on arm.

version bump from 3.0.0 works fine.

Please add to portage

build.log (3.0.4)

simply bumping 3.0.0 to 3.0.4 fails here (see the attached build.log)
Comment 10 Dennis Nezic 2010-09-23 16:52:27 UTC
What version of ocaml are you using?
Comment 11 Laurento Frittella (mrfree) 2010-09-24 07:26:02 UTC
dev-lang/ocaml-3.11.2
Comment 12 Laurento Frittella (mrfree) 2010-09-24 10:14:04 UTC
I found it's a known bug already fixed, here is the patch https://savannah.nongnu.org/patch/download.php?file_id=21239

Comment 13 Thomas Capricelli 2010-09-29 01:02:23 UTC
For the record, it works here by bumping 3.0.0 ebuild to 3.0.4, unmodified. My system is stable amd64, and i have dev-lang/ocaml-3.11.2

It seems the gentoo team has given up with this package, nothing has happened for months. We are on our own..

3.0.5 in CVS, closing
