Installation of dvipdfmx is successful, but there are the following QA warnings:

!!! dodoc: FONTMAP does not exist

What use flags do you have set for that package?  (i.e. the output of emerge -pv dvipdfmx).

There are no use-flags available for this package and none set. I previously had FEATURES=nodoc set so this error did not occur.

You're welcome! I made a quick check - newer versions do not have this error and the concerning files do not exist in dvipdfmx-<any version>'s tarball.
