Description Michael Ossmann 2003-09-25 15:37:15 UTC
Here we go again! ;-)

2.0.0 is the most recent stable release of Lilypond.

lilypond-2.0.0.ebuild (Update)

ebuild changes since 1.8.2:

removed nopfa build (not available in 2.0.0)
updated dependencies
removed ccache workaround
updated dodoc and doins stuff

There is a possibility that we could add a nopfa option which downloads
ready-made Type1 fonts.
I'm pretty certain the ccache issue has gone away, but I could be wrong.

I'm testing this now.  Appears that the ctags workaround is still needed;
I'll put it back in. I should be able to commit this later tonight. Thanks
for your excellent work, Mike.

Aron, sorry I didnt mean to steal this for text-markup, but we have some
other Lilypond bugs as well, should I send them your way ?

Mike G,

No problem on the stealing; I think I was the thief in this case anyway.
I've never marked myself the maintainer of the lilypond ebuilds because
I don't have a strong enough grasp of the underlying tex system to fix the
bugs. But I love putting in the new lilypond ebuilds because I'm a user
of the software... ;-)

I'd suggest having Mike Ossmann (who provides us with the updated lilypond
ebuilds) take a look at that other bug. He has a solid understanding of
lilypond's requirements and might be able to suggest a solution. If you
really want, you can assign it to me, but you might be in a better position
yourself to make progress on it.

Aron
