Hi all After upgrading my ~x86 to kde-4.3.4 no user can log into KDE normally anymore. Depending on wether the user is in the plugdev group, either kded4 or plasma-desktop crash upon login. If the second user is then added to the plugdev group, the dbus errors go away, but then plasma-desktop crashes instead of kded4 (unfortunately the backtrace tool keeps telling me that the crash report is not useful and I don't know what to do to make it useful). After following http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-6084760.html#6084760 and downgrading hal to 0.5.13-r2 the problem went away for all users, system is back to normal. kind regards Markus
