Description Morten Larsen 2009-12-04 15:57:22 UTC
When right clicking on the pager and selecting 'Configure Desktops...' nothing happens. I've seen other bug reports on this issue that suggests that /usr/share/kde4/services/desktop.desktop is missing. My system has the desktop.desktop file yet nothing happens.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install kde 4.3.3
2. Right click on the pager and select 'Configure Desktops...'

Actual Results:
Nothing happens

Expected Results:
Options dialog to configure the pager

The same problem exists with nepomuk when right clicking on the tray icon and selecting 'Configure Strigi'. But I've not opened a bug about nepomuk because I suspect that the same bug/issue is causing it.

Comment 1 Andreas K. Hüttel archtester gentoo-dev 2010-04-08 23:21:52 UTC
How about KDE 4.3.5 or 4.4.2?
Comment 2 Morten Larsen 2010-04-09 18:34:10 UTC
I've just tested with KDE 4.3.5 and it works. For KDE 4.4.2 I don't know as I don't run that version.

I did a few tests on my pc at work which run a minimal KDE 4.3.3, and the problem goes away there when emerging KDE 4.3.3 meta package.
