Description Thomas Beierlein gentoo-dev 2009-11-30 20:27:05 UTC
Just recompiled the package after one year. bacula-fd, bacula-sd and bacula-dir all crashes just after startup if the package is compiled with some optimization in CFLAGS (even for -O1). See following snippet for bacula-fd as example:

Comment 1 Thomas Beierlein gentoo-dev 2009-12-01 06:08:20 UTC
Hmm, seems to be a problem with GCC's FORTIFY_SOURCE. See also http://bugs.bacula.org/view.php?id=1138 on baculas bug reporting system.
Comment 2 Thomas Beierlein gentoo-dev 2009-12-01 06:47:58 UTC
Sorry, just found that the problem was discussed before in bug 257016. Did not dig deep enough in bugzilla.
