If the ebuild used virtualx.eclass it should work.

Same problem here, it also fails even running "Xemake check", maybe the problem is that ./${test} || failed=$((${failed}+1)) is not running through Xemake... :-/

Tests passed for me after changing "emake check" to "Xemake check".
