sys-cluster/csync2 is currently having difficulties with SSL due to changes in net-libs/gnutls greater than 2.7.0. To try and work around this, I specified csync2 to not use SSL. For my testing, I used the /etc/portage/package.use file to specify it like so: sys-cluster/csync2 -ssl However, it should be able to be reproduced simply by doing this: USE="-ssl" emerge sys-cluster/csync2 The build fails due to a syntax error, listed below. Same result here! An emerge without ssl is impossible.
It's due to typo in csync2-1.34-pure-gnutls.patch. For newer and corrected version see bug 274213.
