This is needed for libvirt stabilisation.  Please cc arches as you see fit.

arches, please stabilize.

target keywords: amd64 x86 ppc
test instructions:
compile-only unless you have access to an iSCSI target to test against (if so, read regression.sh that upstream ships, needs params for your target etc).

I do confirm that it works on both my amd64 and arm boxes.
