hi, some time ago i've been gentoo developer as well "batlogg" - at these time i registered the domains gentoo.at and gentoo.cc - during the last years i payed for them and some austrian users built their site. i'd like to give the responsibility of these domains to the foundation or another trusted party. please advise. Pricing at GANDI (where we have gentoo.be) .at is ~22EUR/year incl taxes. .cc is ~31EUR/year incl taxes. I'll check GoDaddy (where we have the .org) later batlogg: who was your original registrar?
i registered them at internetx.de meanwhile i gave gentoo.at to a austrian non-profit dedicated to gentoo contact person is Michael - picki(at)me(dot)com .cc is still under my control
batlogg: sorry about the response time, looks like this bug fell into a gap of the two days when bugmail wasn't working right. We can still cover the .at if the Austrian NFP & trustees agree. Does picki have bugzilla account (I didn't find one w/ that email)? please add him here if you know it. trustees: please vote on this, and I'll take the suitable actions to transfer the domain(s) into GoDaddy & Gandi. Costing proposal. .cc: transfer to GoDaddy. $20USD transfer, then $20USD/year. .at: transfer to Gandi. 15EUR transfer, then 18EUR/year. notes: GoDaddy doesn't support transfers of .at domains. Gandi wants 26EUR/year for .cc. So we're best off splitting between the two.
