When using KDE4. It will crash on certain applications unless you use the MALLOC_CHECK_=1 or something like that. While reading PlanetKDE a developer mpyne. Post a link to a patch for glibc-2.10 and maybe glibc-2.11. Here is the link to the patch on glibc. http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=10282. Be nice to have it applied so I can stop using 2.9
