I have problem tha my compute nodes do not connect to the nfs3 fileserver. I suspect it has to do with the fact I do not have ipv6 support enabled in my kernel nor in USE flags. I connect to all nodes in a look via ssh and issue "mount -a" to get the remote NFSv3 drive connected but it is boring. Although we have newer version on Gentoo now lets mention some more related info: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=249121
it is a bug in libtirpc, and the fixed version is in portage, so ...
