Well, fixing that is actually quite trivial - if you look at static void up_dict, you may nearly instantly guess, what's done wrong.

Patch added and fixed in gjiten-2.6-r2.
If anyone is interested, I've got a series of git patches, that cleans up gjiten in regard of the use of deprecated Gnome libs and ports it to gtk3. They still need a bit polish, but seems to be pully working.
