Comment 3 Juergen Rose 2009-11-08 15:03:43 UTC
If I then list
/var/tmp/portage/dev-libs/nss-3.12.4-r2/work/nss-3.12.4/mozilla/security/nss/lib/libpkix/pkix/results

I see that there is already an directory Linux2.6_x86_i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc_glibc_PTH_OPT.OBJ.

If I then remove /var/tmp/portage/dev-libs/nss-3.12.4-r2 and repeat "emerge nss"
it fails with a similar error but in an other directory:
...
make[2]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/dev-libs/nss-3.12.4-r2/work/nss-3.12.4/mozilla/security/nss/lib/freebl'
directory creation race: Linux2.6_x86_i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc_glibc_PTH_OPT.OBJ

Looks that way, though I do wonder why does it happen with
'-j1'.
