Description Marcel Semancik 2009-11-04 14:24:27 UTC
media-plugins/gmpc-qosd-0.15.5.0 install plugin to /usr/share/gmpc/plugins/ and gmpc searches for plugins in /usr/lib/gmpc/plugins/. It makes plugin invisible for gmpc.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge =media-plugins/gmpc-qosd-0.15.5.0
2. find plugin in wrong dir :-)
3.

Actual Results:
plugin is in /usr/share/gmpc/plugins

Expected Results:
install plugin to /usr/lib/gmpc/plugins/

+ Install to /usr/lib instead of /usr/share (bug 291855)
Comment 2 Marcel Semancik 2010-03-28 12:31:49 UTC
After fix the plugin is installed to /usr/lib where it cannot be found by gmpc. Correct path should be /usr/lib/gmpc/plugins
