It compiles correctly but fails during src_install

Disabling parallel build in the install phase, as suggested by eva in #gentoo-desktop, do the trick: src_install() { gnome2_src_install -j1 }
Created attachment 210040 [details] another build.log The same problem and the fix works. Well, there is a problem compiling (MAKEOPTS="-j8" and MAKEOPTS="-j1"). in -j1 mode, there is a missing include "jsstddef.h" which only exists as /usr/include/js/jsstddef.h from dev-lang/spidermonkey-1.7.0 on my system, bot not in the xulrunner-1.9.2 includes. in -j8 (quad core), there is a - /usr/include/xulrunner-1.9.2/jscntxt.h:1824: error: ‘JSContext’ has no member named ‘fp’ - modules/console.c:114: error: expected expression before ‘char’ and some warnings about /usr/include/xulrunner-1.9.2/js*

Created attachment 225063 [details] -j8 mode seems like gjs does not like xulrunner-1.9.2
(In reply to comment #5) > Well, there is a problem compiling (MAKEOPTS="-j8" and MAKEOPTS="-j1"). version bump to 0.5 does the trick.
Created attachment 226207 [details, diff] suggested changes for gnome-overlay Subject: [PATCH] dev-libs/gjs-0.6 version bump and USE=coverage git-0.4 does not compile against xulrunner-1.9.2.2-r1. see http://dpaste.com/178679/ and http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=291424 the new version depends on x11-libs/cairo the coverage USE flag wasn't passed to the econf command / configure script. USE=coverage does not compile yet, see http://dpaste.com/178689/ I think that is no regression to the gjs-0.4.ebuild which does not respect it. Michael
Created attachment 226209 [details] buildlog for gjs-0.6[coverage] any clues. recompile gjs-0.4 with G2CONF="$(use_enable coverage)", i can't because of xulrunner error occurs first.

This has been fixed with the bump to 0.6, thanks for reporting!
