after upgrade, compiz becomes soooo slow

pau@LittleMonkey ~ $ uname --all

Have you tried using an empty xorg.conf? With an intel card and xorg-1.6, xorg should be able to configure itself.

yes I've tried, but it crash anyway..

This is already fixed with mesa-7.6 (currently unmasked in x11 overlay).
Fixed mesa will go to main tree among with 7.6.1 release.

Please test with the new compiz-0.8.6 that will be added in the next minutes / hours to the tree.

No reply for 1 year. Last comments imply it is fixed.

Please reopen if the issue is still around with current up-to-date tree.
