after upgrading my system to x11-base/xorg-server-1.7.1 i recognize that mplayer isn't hiding my mousecurser in fullscreen mode anymore. It seems like a fklicker every 2 seconds as if it wants to hide it but it comes back.

i can confirm the same with x11-base/xorg-server-1.7.3.902 and media-video/mplayer-1.0_rc4_p20091124-r1

hmm going through my open bugs... this is fixed now
