Description Ulrich Müller gentoo-dev 2009-10-27 08:54:40 UTC
The next version bump of app-admin/eselect is pending. However, I've noticed that several of its dependencies are missing keywords (which used not to be the case).

Please (re-)keyword eselect's dependencies, or add them to package.provided or package.use.mask of your profile, whatever is appropriate.

I'll bump eselect in about a week from now, but I thought I'll give you an advance warning before dropping keywords.

Summary what should be keyworded / package.provided / package.use.masked:

dev-python/docutils:
   m68k, mips,
   ppc-aix,
   x86-freebsd,
   hppa-hpux, ia64-hpux,
   x86-interix,
   ia64-linux,
   m68k-mint,
   sparc64-solaris, x64-solaris

sys-apps/coreutils, sys-apps/file, sys-apps/sed, sys-libs/ncurses:
   ppc-aix,
   x86-freebsd,
   hppa-hpux, ia64-hpux,
   x86-interix,
   amd64-linux, ia64-linux, x86-linux,
   ppc-macos, x64-macos, x86-macos,
   m68k-mint,
   sparc-solaris, sparc64-solaris, x64-solaris x86-solaris

Ulrich,

The prefix team hears your concern but now we are in between a rock and a hard place. We really want to migrate more stuff but at the same time we are trying to be *more* friendly with other maintainers.

Can repoman -d be ignored for some time yet? Future migrations will have proper deps in one tree instead of only caring about the destination tree (prefix).

Comment 5 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2010-07-27 15:32:06 UTC
prefix keywords added, thanks
Comment 6 Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2010-10-08 02:41:28 UTC
docutils has been keyworded ~mips as part of bug 281161, don't see we had anything specific to this bug for us here, removing CC

Two years... closing as obsolete.
