The USE flag should affect the following utilities:

/sbin/mount.cifs                                   
/sbin/umount.cifs                                  

It will allow putting mount points in /etc/fstab, utilizing the kerberos integration. This means that every user mounts the same directory using a different set of credentials.

A sample of /etc/fstab:
//server/exports    /mnt/exports cifs    password=,sec=krb5,noauto,user,nosetuids        0 0

Please consider. It is very important for multiuser configurations. Can be off by default, so no new security issues is added.
