In xf86vidmodeproto-2.3 xf86vmode.h was removed and moved into >=x11-libs/libXxf86vm-1.0.99.1. Now with in tree packages mesa fails to build: IVER_DIR=\"/usr/lib64/dri\" glxcmds.c -o glxcmds.o glxcmds.c:43:38: error: X11/extensions/xf86vmode.h: No such file or directory Please, bump x11-libs/libXxf86vm-1.1.0 and add blocker into xf86vidmodeproto-2.3 with the older libXxf86vm. Or anything you think better suites here. Thank you in advance.
Tomǎś, did you break package.mask again? :)
Ok, this is wontfix. The mask is for reason, the packages are yet incomplete. I am adding them to the tree right away when upstream tags them. So when i get home i will regen the list and update the packages released today. Wait until i anounce it on -dev that it is ready for testing please.
Heh, I know that it's package.masked for reason - I wanted to find out how will you handle dependencies here: I had similar issue in other packages and added blocker there while I'm not sure if that's best solution.
I'm not exactly sure how we'll handle it. Right now, we're focusing on getting everything in portage and we'll do testing rounds with probably a tracker and lots of bug reports for packages all over portage. As for the libs and protos themselves, we'll probably add blockers at some point. Thanks
