Description Karl Ernst Brunk 2009-10-03 22:43:54 UTC
If you have -gnome at your USE-Flags the ebuild does not pull libgnome but the configure-script looks out for it. So this Flag-Option is wrong.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.USE="-gnome" emerge passepartout

Actual Results:
2.fetches do not include libgnome
3.configure-script stops because it is missing libgnome

Expected Results:
when there is an option "+/-gnome" then it should build when it is used.

Attach build.log.

...but AFAICT it's an upstream bug -
configure.ac was incorrectly written.
It suggests gnome should be optional,
but the way it is, it doesn't work.
AC_ARG_WITH([gnome], ...) should be rewitten
into something sane for it to work.

And on an unrelated note, 0.7.1 was tagged in the git,
so it was probably released a few months ago too.

sorry i did not send it over but i did not get a message and its just by accident i got here again.
I had a look at there site : no new stuff since 2009. Even on svn it seem that there is nothing happens anymore. All sources more than one year old. Last message i could find was from march 2010.
My suggestion : close bug and take this project out of the tree.
