rarian's rarian-sk-update utility tries to unconditionally use the 'getopt' command in a bash script. Unfortunately, this will not be available on prefix platforms due to a lack of 'util-linux', which provides it. If there isn't a platform 'getopt' which is GNU-compatible, then this utility (which is called during the build process) fails. The simplest solution might be to alter this package to depend on app-misc/getopt, and then change all references from 'getopt' to 'getopt-long'...
Looks as if rarian's usr/bin/scrollkeeper-update is also affected.

We are sorry to close this bug. We lack the man-power and devotion to support mips-irix in the tree.
